Registration Badges

Registration badges can be worn proudly in your workplace, showing your level of skill, education, and dedication to professionalism.

Registration badges are only available to those on the current Register/List who have a current Annual Practicing Certificate. Badges must only be worn by the person to whom it is assigned, and only by those who have a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

Metal Badges

The metal badge is a traditional high-quality gold-toned metal background, gold trim, enamel top, and a pin-back closure, and your registration number will be engraved on the back. It is 3cm in diameter.

Price is $45 each, inclusive of postage (to NZ addresses only) and engraving of your registration number on the back. Please allow 6 weeks for processing, engraving, and posting.

The following styles of metal badge are available for special order. Registered Veterinary Nurse Specialist (RVNS) - VTS qualified only; Registered Rural Animal Technician (RRAT) and Listed Veterinary Nurse (LVN) are also available by special order - email admin@avprc.org.nz for information about ordering.

Embroidered (Iron-On) Badges

The embroidered (iron-on) badge is a high quality patch designed to be attached permanently to a uniform. It is 7cm in diameter and created to look like an embroidered version of the metal badge. While it does have an iron-on backing, repeated washing and drying can loosen the attachment so sewing the edge of the patch to the garment is recommended.
